CURRENT SITUATIONS OF COVID-19 IN MAHARASHTRA

The largest country’s worst-affected state, Maharashtra, on Wednesday, 1july 2020 recorded 5,537 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total count to 1.8 lakh.

With the  1,487 new cases, and 73 deaths cases , Mumbai has touched a total of 79,145  live positive cases and 4,631 deaths cases.

India was reported 434 deaths and 19,148 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours of day.,the total number of infections Thursday crossed the 6 lakh -mark to reach 6,04,641, including 17834 deaths, 2,26,947 active cases, and 3,59,860 recoveries of Maharashtra.

In the Maharashtra continues to be the worst-hit state in the country with 15,525 total Covid-19 live cases.The situation in Maharashtra is certainly a matter of concern right now as 34 out of 36 districts are affected by the  Covid-19,” Vardhan told reporters on Wednesday.“I will hold a meeting with CM as well to discuss further course of actions to control spread of the virus in the state,” the health minister added.In the Maharashtra’s corona virus cases  tally rose to 1,74,761 on Tuesday with addition of 4,878 new patients while the death toll mounted by 245, including 57 facalities in Mumbai, to 7,855, state health department in Maharashtra .

The largest number of corona virus live positive cases are increases in Palghar, a predominantly tribal district of Maharashtra, crossed the 5,000 cases on Wednesday with the additional  of 257 cases, PTI are reported. The cases count in the district now stands at 5,239, the state department said in a release In Maharashtra .

 Municipal Corporation of Pune has decided to conduct rapid antigen detection tests for diagnosis of Covid-19 after a couple of days, a top official told PTI. He said that move will decrease burden on the National Institute of Virology (NIV) and other laboratories in Maharashtra.
